Despite a strong effort from VJ Edgecombe, the Philadelphia 76ers fell to Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics 114-98 on Sunday night to drop to 33-27 on the season, evening the season series between these teams at two games each.

Tyrese Maxey shot just 4-18 from the field in the first half, before turning it around a bit after intermission to finish with 33 points on 12-34 shooting. VJ Edgecombe added in 23 points, with Dominick Barlow chipping in with 14 points and eight rebounds.

The Celtics were led by a career night from Neemias Queta, who set a new career high with 27 points to go along with 17 rebounds and three blocked shots. Jaylen Brown added 27/8/8, and the Celtics finished with 19 offensive rebounds as a team.
