Die-hard Knicks fan Spike Lee joins the show to discuss his New York fandom and legendary filmmaking career. Spike reveals which movies were most impactful to him, why he thinks Denzel Washington is the greatest actor of our time, what has been the key to his success, and will he live to see his beloved Knicks win the NBA Championship. Jim reveals to Spike how Phil Jackson used one of his films to motivate the Lakers during their 2006 Playoff series against Phoenix. Additionally, Spike reveals who he wanted to audition for the role of Jesus Shuttlesworth in “He Got Game” before Ray Allen was cast and how the movie was originally scripted to end.
