Jacob Cofie joins the USC Triple-Double Podcast: Trojan men stay undefeated as women take first loss

The USC Triple-Double Podcast -- the Peristyle Podcast's basketball-focused podcast -- returns with co-hosts Shotgun Spratling and Connor Morrissette (aka Mr. Triple Double) breaking down Rodney Rice's triple double in USC's 87-67 win over Illinois State. The duo also discuss the Women of Troy's 69-52 loss to South Carolina as well as the team's bounce back 78-51 win over Portland.

But before getting into all of the action, USC men's forward Jacob Cofie joins the show to talk about his early season success, why he chose the Trojans, his relationship with Eric Musselman and Will Conroy, and much more. Cofie has started all three games for the Men of Troy so far this season, and he's averaging 13.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 3.0 blocks per game. 

The USC Triple-Double concludes with a look ahead to the men's matchup with Troy as well as the team's trip to Hawaii for the Maui Invitational. Shotgun and Connor also preview the women's ranked road matchup against No. 24 Notre Dame on Friday.
