Valencia CF Academy Experience 2023

Relationship With Valencia CF

Our good friend John Garside from Pro Goalkeeping Tuition has an incredible relationship with Valencia CF and has been going on yearly trips since 2017. He has invited us to join him on the next trip to Valencia CF.The beauty of this opportunity is that John has a personal relationship with the club and club members. This means that the club will take care of us like special guests and our players will be trained by Valencia CF coaches. Players and parents will be given an incredibly professional and valuable experience. Rather than the usual commercialised soccer tour where there is little to no personal connection or care factor. In fact, to demonstrate the relationship that John has, he is organising for Valencia CF to send two signed jerseys to us here at Mastery Football Academy.

John Garside will be flying from Queensland to facilitate an information meeting and presentation at 11am on Saturday, January 28th at Comets FC Clubrooms. (With feedback, we can change the date or time)

Itinerary, Inclusions & Coaches

The itinerary for teams travelling would include 10 training sessions, and 3-4 matches, with the likes of Cracks CF Academy. Other games will be organised against other local clubs. Training sessions will be facilitated by Valencia CF and its coaching staff. Below is a list of coaches that have facilitated the goalkeeper sessions for John's goalkeeper academy. We will soon have the names of the outfield coaches that will run sessions for Mastery Football Academy.

Andoni Ochotorena (Valencia CF Academy Coach for U6 - U16s)

Aitor Bas (Head of Methodology for Valencia Academy Goalkeepers. U6s – U12s GK's manager. U16-U19 GK Coach Collaborator)

Pablo Moreno (Valencia CF Ladies first team Goalkeeper coach. U12s-U16s GK's Coach Collaborator)

Javier Marti Devis (Valencia CF U19's, Juvenil Division de Honor Goalkeeper Coach. U12 – U16's GK's manager)

Who Can Come?

Please note, that this is only suitable for experienced players.

Once we have an idea of if players and parents are interested, we will know how to move forward regarding the ages of the teams we will take over.

Valencia CF and John Garside mentioned that it is more suitable for ages 12 to 18. However that it is still possible to bring a team that is younger.

So regardless, we urge you to come to the information meeting, and then we can reevaluate from there regarding the interest that there is.

Parents and siblings are welcome to travel.
