Episode Notes
Teenage running star Sam Ruthe says he was racing to win, not break any records at Boston University - but he did just that.
The 16-year-old has broken Sir John Walker's 1982 outdoor mile record of 3 minutes and 49 point 8 seconds by two-tenths of a second - running 3 minutes 48 point 88 seconds at the indoor meet.
It's the fastest-ever indoor mile by a high school student, and an under 18 World Record for the Mile.
He joined Piney to discuss after the fact.
