Career night for Dai Dai Ames! The Golden Bears overcame a furious rally from the Yellow Jackets at the start of the second half to get a 90-85 victory. Cal led by as many as 15 early in the second half, and Georgia Tech went on a 22-3 run to take a 4-point lead. Cal made 23 of 30 free throws in the second half to help retake and hold onto the lead. Cal's Dai Dai Ames scored a career-high 29 points on 9-13 shooting with three made three-pointers. John Camden also hit three three-pointers, and he had 15 points and five rebounds. Justin Pippen finished with 13 points, seven rebounds, and six assists. Georgia Tech's Akai Fleming had 19 points, five rebounds, and two assists to lead the Yellow Jackets. Baye Ndongo had 10 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists.
