Description
The ACC has one of the best groups of freshmen that the conference has had in years, and not only are they some of the best players in the conference, but they are some of the best players in the country. North Carolina's Caleb Wilson and Duke's Cameron Boozer are both on the edge of potential 20-10 seasons. After down seasons in 2024-25, Miami's Shelton Henderson and Virginia's Thijs De Ridder are leading resurgent seasons for both the Cavaliers and the Hurricanes. Stanford's Ebuka Okorie has been one of the biggest surprises of the year, averaging over 20 points per game for the Cardinal. While he has played only 12 games thus far due to an injury, Louisville's Mikel Brown Jr. has lived up to much of the preseason hype. As we near the midseason point of the conference schedule, check in on the freshmen making an impact in the 2025-26 ACC basketball season.
