North Carolina quarterback Gio Lopez took the reins of the Tar Heels' offense for Bill Belichick and finished the season with 1,874 total yards on 65.1% passing with 13 touchdowns responsible for on the year while throwing 5 interceptions. Lopez averaged 158.8 passing yards per game and put up a QB rating of 130.2 for the year.
