Losing to the Oklahoma City Thunder is one thing — but losing at home to the Indiana Pacers with a fully healthy roster is inexcusable. The biggest issue right now isn’t effort… it’s the lineup. Coach Erik Spoelstra’s decision to start Tyler Herro and move Kel’el Ware back to the bench has completely thrown off this team’s chemistry. We’ve already seen this movie before — the Heat struggled badly when playing small, and it’s happening again. The lineup that worked was clear: Ware at center, Bam at power forward, Wiggins on the wing, Powell at the two, and Davion Mitchell running the point. Since moving away from that formula, the Heat look disjointed, undersized, and confused. Is Tyler Herro’s role the real problem? Does his contract and status force Spoelstra’s hand?
