Miami Stuns NC State With 8-0 Run To Close Out The Win

With less than a minute remaining and trailing by seven, the Miami defense stiffened, and Malik Reneau and Tru Washington found another gear to put together an 8-0 run and steal a victory at NC State. Reneau cut into the lead with a 3-point play that was followed by an NC State turnover that Washington capitalized on. After a missed foul shot by the Wolfpack, Washington was fouled on a three-point try. He calmly sank all 3 shots, giving the Canes the 1-point lead.
