Georgia Tech guard Lamar Washington played a huge part as he helped the Yellow Jackets to a 79-67 win over Monmouth. Washington scored a game-high tying 23 points on an uber-efficient 7-9 shooting with 8 rebounds and 6 assists for Damon Stoudamire's club.
