The ASICS Superblast 3 introduces several material and design updates focused on midsole performance, fit, and sustainability. The midsole now combines FF BLAST PLUS cushioning with the new FF LEAP foam used in the ASICS METASPEED racing models. According to Asics, FF LEAP is engineered to be 33 percent lighter and 13 percent more responsive than FF BLAST technology, while maintaining cushioning for daily training use. The Megablast is the new super trainer on the block, following on from the widespread popularity of the excellent Superblast and Superblast 2.
