Lani Pallister had a stellar showing at the first stop of the World Cup, winning the 400 free and 800 free as well as placing 2nd in the 200 free behind her countrymate, Mollie O'Callaghan. Notably, in the 800 free, Pallister was under world record pace for the first half of the race. Next weekend in Westmont, the distance ace will take on the 1500 free for the first time since 2022, when she won the SCM World Title in the event.
