Pitt lost at home to the visiting Pride, 80-73. Pitt had no answers for Hofstra's Cruz Davis, who had 36 points on 14-25 shooting, with seven assists, two rebounds, and a block. Pitt's Brandin Cummins did his best to keep up with Davis, scoring 34 points, 30 of which came in the second half. Barry Dunning Jr. added 13 points and eight rebounds for the Panthers.
