In the 200 Backstroke, Claire Curzan set a new NCAA and American record in the 200 Back with a time of 1:46.09, breaking her own previous record. After a stellar week at the ACC Championships, she was named the Most Valuable Swimmer of the Meet after collecting two individual events (100 & 200 Back) and three relay (200 Free, 400 Free, 400 Medley) wins.
