Virginia vs. Texas: The Cavaliers traveled to Texas and defeated the Longhorns, 88-69, in the ACC/SEC Challenge. UVA had 12 of its 24 three-point attempts. Five Virginia players scored in double-figures with Chance Mallory's 16 points leading the way. Johann Grunloh had 15 points and five rebounds. Thij De Ridder added 15 points, six rebounds, and two assists.
